::RETURN TO GLORY!!::

Bobby D. Presents together with Coors Light and Top Shelf Promotions throw their hat once again in the professional boxing world as they present "Return to Glory" the night of July 24th from Downtown San Diego.  In the main event, world class hometown favorite Danny Perez (31-5, 17KO) makes his much awaited return to the squared circle after a two year hiatus,  “…very excited.  Working really hard for about a year getting my weight down, preparing myself and getting in shape,” Perez states.  ““I’m back!  I’m on track for the fight and ready to right again.  I’m back to win a title.”

 Across the ring from Perez will be tough journeyman Rito Ruvalcaba (32-9, 28KO) of nearby Tijuana, MX in a super welterweight six round clash.  The six bout fight card will be held at the 4th and B which in the past has held a numerous number of cards including ones televised on Telefutura, Telemundo and the last episode of HBO's Boxeo Latino.

Perez, who in '99 was the last fighter to send IBF champ Antonio Margarito to the canvas, owns wins over Contender alumni Grady Brewer, Jose Luis Zertuche and Marcos Primera and at one point was ranked in the top ten welterweights in Ring Magazine.

But Ruvalcaba is no push over as he has shared the ring with such names as "Yory Boy" Campas, William Joppy, Eric Regan, Jose Luis Zertuche and recent junior middleweight WBC champ Sergio Mora.

San Diego as well as Tijuana, MX, boxing fans are salivating at the mouth with the thought of these two rugged warriors meeting inside a ring since both fighters enjoy a healthy following on either side of the border.

In the semi main event, "El Consentido de Tijuana" Emilio Bojorquez returns to the ring in San Diego as he takes his biggest challenge to date in Arturo "Aguilita" Valenzuela in a six round super featherweight bout. The two-time Mexican national amateur champ Bojorquez (9-1, 7KO) in his last bout completely annihilated Cesar Garcia (3-1, 2KO) of Ensenada with a first round stoppage and is now ready to take a step up in competition.

Valenzuela fits the role perfectly.  With a record of 20-11, 17KO, Valenzuela has matched skills against Mark "Too Sharp" Johnson, Frankie Archuleta and in his last bout Aaron Garcia who against he dropped a six round decision.

"I want to measure myself against Valenzuela.  I think I can do better against him than Garcia did and if so, I hope it sets up something against Aaron in the near future," Bojorquez admits.

Four other explosive bouts are scheduled including the aforementioned Cesar Garcia of Ensenada, MX versus Evgeniy Khil (2-2-1) of Russia by way of San Diego in a super featherweight four round bout and the return of “The Pride of San Diego” light middleweight Rafael Ramirez (17-4-2, 4KO).
