Former three time welterwight champion Antonio “Tijuana Tornado” Margarito (38-6, 27KO) of Tijuana, MX, made his comeback to the ring a good one as he completely dominated Roberto “La Amenaza” Garcia (28-3, 21KO) of Weslaco, TX, last night in the main event of “Latin Fury 14″ in Aguascalientes, MX.

After ten rounds of an entertaining scrap, the ringside judges scored it 99-89, 100-88 and 99-90, all for the Tijuana fighter. Margarito dropped Garcia in the first with a hard right hand and controlled the rest of the action with an all pressure attack as well as new nuances such as lateral movement and better defense. With the win, Margarito captured the WBC Continental super welterweight title.

In the semi main event, Jorge “Coloradito” Solis (39-2-2, 28KO) cruised to an easy unanimous decision over Puerto Rico’s Jose Santiago (21-3-1, 14KO) to defend his interim WBA super featherweight title. Scores were 119-108 and 118-109 twice.
