Humberto "Zorrita" Soto
WBC lightweight champion Humberto “Zorrita” Soto will defend his title for the first time on May 15th in his hometown of Los Mochis, MX, against Culiacan’s Ricardo “Pelon” Dominguez.
Soto (51-7-2, 32KO), who trains out of Tijuana, MX, under the tutelage of Bobby Quirarte, is coming off his crowning bout against David Diaz on the undercard of Pacquiao-Clottey on March 13th.
“Pelon” Dominguez holds a record of 31-5-2, 19KO.
Top Rank and zanfer Promotions will host the event, the under card is still to be determined.
