Baja Boxing to Make Their Debut!

The boxing promotional company, based out of Tijuana, MX, Baja Boxing will debut with their first fight card on April 10th from the Palenque of Morelos Park.

The night will feature three national titles -WBC FECARBOX jr. welterweight, bantamweight and flyweight- being disputed and will be televised by Televisa in Mexico.

Baja Boxing, which is lead by Antonio Lozada, will be dedicated in promoting prospects from Baja California.

“We want to give a great show for the fans, a great platform for local fighters and a good product for Televisa and I am confident that we will do that on this fight card,” Lozada stated.

In the main event, Tijuana’s Antonio “Cañitas” Lozada Jr. (21-0, 18KO) will face Henry Mamba” Araud (12-2-1, 9KO) of Colombia for the 140 lbs. title in a clash of KO artists.

The also undefeated David “Morita” De La Mora (19-0, 13KO) will face Sinaloa’s Jovanny “Bambino” Soto (27-10-1, 22KO) for the 118 lbs. strap.

In what might be the fight of the night, Arturo “Fuerte” Badillo (17-0, 15KO) will face the toughest opponent in two-time world title challenger Ronald “Indio” Barrera (26-7-2, 16KO) of Colombia for the flyweight version of the strap.
