David "La Flecha" Gaspar
Box Latino Promotions, who is directed by three divisional world champion Erik “Terrible” Morales, will begin their 2010 season with “Final Challenge” fight card on Saturday, January 30th.
Headlining the night Juan Luis “Perla Negra” Hernandez (15-2-1, 9KO) of Tijuana, MX, will face Long Beach, CA’s David “La Flecha” Gaspar (12-2-1, 7KO) for the super flyweight USNBC title which Gaspar holds.
In the semi-main, super featherweight Omar Estrella (10-2-2, 6KO) wil face Mexicali’s Manuel Arellano (27-29-1, 21KO) for eight rounds.
Also featured on the fight card will be Ivan Morales (1-0, 1KO) facing Manuel Armendariz (0-19) in a four rounder, lightweight Mario “Popeye” Padilla (3-2, 1KO) vs. Luis “Bofo” Vieda (3-2), in the middleweight division Guillermo Garcia (4-1, 1KO) against Felix Castro who is making his pro debut and the hard hitting super lightweight Jorge “Negro” Silva (8-1, 7KO) will face the always dangerous TBA.
The venue has not been defined although it has been mentioned that the fight card might land in either the “Mariano Matamoros” Arena or at El Foro Theatre.
