Jorge de Alba of Tijuana, MX, made his pro debut last Saturday in Toluca, MX, and earned a fourth round TKO over Vicente Mejia of Mexico City.
The two time gold medalist in the Mexican Nationals was dropped twice but was able to come back and stop his rival in the fourth and final round.
With the win, Alba makes his pro debut a good one and goes to 1-0 while Mejia suffers his first loss and goes to 4-1-1.
De Alba’s bout was part of a promotion presented by Nacho Huizar’s KO Entertainment in which the main event, featuring Ana Maria “Guerrera” Torres, was broadcast by the Mexican network TELEVISA.
