Former IBF minimumweight champion Roberto “Mako” Leyva of Ensenada, MX, will be the challenger for the interim flyweight title of the same organization that the Panamanian Luis “Nica” Concepcion holds.
The championship bout is slated for Thursday November 19th in Panama City at the Roberto Duran Arena.
The hard hitting “Mako” Leyva (26-9-1, 21KO) trains out of the Gaspar “Indio” Ortega gym in Tijuana, MX, under the tutelage of former bantamweight champion Raul “Jibaro” Perez and manager Conrado “Conejo” Guerrero.
Concepcion (18-1, 13KO) was crowned the interim champion when he defeated another Tijuana fighter, Omar Salado.
