The interim WBC super featherweight champion Humberto “Betillo” Gutierrez (26-1-1, 19KO) of Los Mochis, MX, but residing in Tijuana will be traveling to the Sparkassen Arena in Kiel, Germany, to defend his title against the #3 ranked Vitali tajbert (18-1, 6KO) on November 21st.
The championship bout will be part of the “Universum Championship Night” fight card which the main event will be the challenge of the WBO light heavyweight champion Zsolt Erdei (30-0, 17KO) for the WBC cruiserweight title held by the Italian Giacobbe Fragomeni (26-1-1, 10KO).
The winner of Gutierrez-Tajbert will earn the right to challenge the current WBC super featherweight champion Humberto Soto for the title unless “Zorrita” decided to vacate the title and go up in weight which he has been threatening to do for quite some time.
