Change of Venue for Nava’s Homecoming!

jackie-nava-entrenando-pega1Originally programmed for Tijuana’s Palenque, Zanfer Promotions in association with Brigam have changed the venue for the “Hits for Help:United Against Breast Cancer” fight card slated for this Saturday, October 17th.

The fight card will now be held at the historic El Foro Theatre in downtown Tijuana, located on the legendary Avenida Revolucion.

Featured in the main event, former champion Jackie “Aztec Princess” Nava of Tijuana, MX, will face Sinaloa’s Lina Ramirez in a much anticipated rematch.

“We want the fight card to be special.  This is an extraordinary night, where boxing unites with the universal day for fighting breast cancer,” Guillermo Brito, Operations Director for Zanfer Promotions, said.  “We are briging one of Tijuana’s favorite daughters in Jackie Nava and TV AZTECA will be broadcasting live which hopefully will help give a positive light to our fair city.”

The fight card will be fleshed out with Tijuana’s Alex Lopez facing the tough Genaro “Duro” Camargo of Sinaloa as well as the explosive Joksan “Torito” Hernandez of Ensenada when he faces national ex-champion Pedro “Vaquero” Navarrete plus eight more fights.

Tickets priced at $400 pesos ($30.75 dlls), $200 pesos ($15.35 dlls) and $100 pesos ($7.70 dlls) are on sale at the El Foro Theatre box office, at the Municipal Auditorium box office and GasMart gas stations.
