Calderon Promotions are set for this Friday’s fight card in Ciudad del Carmen, MX, where the vacant WBC FECARBOX super featherweight title will be disputed between the unbeaten Didier “Tanque” Basulto and Luis Acevedo of Mexico City, MX.
In the semi main event, Tijuana’s Antonio “Cañitas” Lozada Jr. (19-0, 16KO) and his opponent Salvador Carreon (2-2, 1KO) weighed in today at 138 lbs. and are ready for there ten round bout.
In one of the preliminary bouts, Ensenada, MX’s middleweight Juan Carlos Virgen (13-0-1, 9KO) weighed in at 157 lbs. while his opponent Hugo Rodriguez (0-1) tipped the scales at 159 lbs. Virgen is the current WBC FECARBOX middleweight champion where he will defend his title next month in his hometown of Ensenada.
