The KO artist Juan Luis “Perla Negra” Hernandez (14-2-1, 8KO), who is recuperating from a muscle tear in his left arm, has stated that he will be going against the winner of this Friday’s David Gaspar vs. Jesus Vazquez who face off this Friday in a super flyweight FECOMBOX title bout.
Originally, this Friday night’s fight was slated as Hernandez vs. Gaspar but because of his injury, the “Black Pearl” was not able to take part of the festivities.
“Either at the end of October or in the beginning of November, my fighter will be ready to challenge the winner,” “Kid” Melo, trainer of Hernandez, said.
Hernandez of Tijuana, MX, is on a four fight winning streak. Within those fights, he has handed their first loss to Jesus “Kalaka” Navarro and Alejandro “Timon” Martinez after suffering a broken jaw at the hands of Carlos Rueda last year.
