Box Latino in association with PM Promotions expect a full house at Tijuana’s Municipal Auditorium this Friday when super flyweight David “Flecha” Gaspar of Tijuana, MX, by way of Long Beach, CA, faces Sinaloa’s Jesus Vazquez for the vacant FECOMBOX 115 lbs. title. All proceeds from the fight card wil be donated to the city’s DIF (Foundation for the Development of the Family).
At a press conference held today, former three time divisional world champion Erik Morales along with his wife Andrea Mora and some of the participants of Friday’s boxing event where present to guarantee the night’s success for both the DIF and for the boxing public as they promised a fireworks filled evening.
Gaspar, who was not able to leave his home in Los Angeles on time to assist the press conference, sent a message via telephone stating “I am in good condition and I am ready to jump into the ring and give a great performance in benefit of the DIF.”
As far as his opponent, Jesus “Dinamita” Vazquez, who arrived this morning from Culican, MX, stated “I am confident in winning and hopefully this would lead to a world title.”
On Thursday, Gaspar (11-2-1, 7KO) and Vazquez (18-2, 16KO) will climb onto the scale at the official weigh in being held at the offices of the TIjuana boxing Commission.

“All the proceeds from the ticket sales and concessions will be donated to the DIF,” Morales stated. “Box Latino, PM Promotions and CADENA TRES who will be broadcasting the fight will be paying the purses for all the fighters participating in this fight card.”
Tickets are available at the Municpal Auditorium’s box office. They are available for $100 pesos ($7.69 dlls) for General Admission and $150 pesos ($11.53 dlls) for Ringside.
