“Fuerte” Badillo Ready for Saturday Night!

fuertebad1Super flyweight Arturo Badllo (15-0, 13KO) of Tijuana, MX, has closed down camp and is ready for his first main event bout and his first at ten rounds when he faces Oswaldo “Chapo” Rodriguez (13-5, 9KO) this Saturday night in the debut fight card for Loyes Promotions at the Tijuana Municipal Auditorium. 

Although there is no clear favorite, Badillo is undefeated and will be fighting in front of his home crowd while Rodriguez has the upper hand when it comes to experience as he has faced the better in opposition including Everardo “Zihua” Morales, Francisco “Panchito” Arce and Jose “Matador” Cabrera.

“I am ready to climb into the ring and anxious for the fight to come,” Badillo stated.  “I want to give the Tijuana fans a great fight and I hope they come out to support me this Saturday night.”

The fight card boasts with nine other fights which all include Tijuana prospects such as Javier “Cobrita” Mendoza, Juan Pablo “Che Che” Lopez, Javier Gallo, Alejandro “Mantequitas” Rubio, Alain “Konan” Hernandez, Jovan “Vaquero” Munoz, and Antonio “Tony” Castro.

Jesus “Chino” Badillo and Miguel Angel “Canibal” Garcia will be making their pro debuts in seperate bouts at the “Tijuana es Fuerte (Tijuna is Strong)” fight card.

Tickets range from 100 pesos ($7.60 dlls) to for General Admission to 300 pesos ($22.75 dlls) for ringside and they are available at the Municipal Auditorium box office as well as the Tecate Six-Coors Light mini markets, Farmacias Nacional and Gasmart.
