Arturo “Fuerte” Badillo is in full force in the gym preparing for his first main event bout on August 1st at the Tijuana Municipal Auditorium as he takes on Oswaldo Rodriguez in the debut fight card of Loyes Promotions enttitled “Tijuana es Fuerte”.
The unbeaten Badillo (15-0, 13ko) and Rodriguez (13-5, 8KO) will face each other in a scheduled ten round bout in the super flyweight division. Nine other fights will fill out the fight card.
Badillo knows the danger of Rodriguez who is ranked at the national level in Mexico and has faced the likes of Everardo “Zihua” Morales, Francisco “Panchito” Arce and Jose “Matador” Cabrera.
Also featured on the fight card will be the Tijuana prospects Javier Gallo (10-1-1, 4KO), Juan Pablo “Che Che” Lopez (13-0, 12KO), Alejandro “Mantequitas” Rubio (7-0, 3KO), Alain “Konan” Hernandez (14=7=2, 7KO) and Antonio “Tony” Castro (7-0, 3KO).
