“Pirry” Leyva in Ensenada!

ensenadaposter1Mart Promotions have announced their “War for the Territory” six bout fight card being held in the port city of Ensenada, MX, about 80 miles south of San Diego, CA, on Friday, May 30th.

In the main event, local favorite Manuel “Pirry” Leyva (17-1, 9KO), brother of former IBF jr. flyweight champ Roberto “Mako” Leyva, will face off against Hector Guzman (6-11-2, 3KO) of Mexicali, MX, in a ten round jr. welterweight bout.

Also featured is featherweight Ivan “Choko” Hernandez (24-3-1, 14KO), also of Ensenada, versus Tijuana’s Jose “Raton” Mendoza (1-14, 1KO) over ten rounds.

Undefeated middleweight Juan Carlos “Saladito” Virgen (11-0-1, 9KO) returns to the ring in an eight rounder against Mexicali’s Francisco “Rayo” Valenzuela (9-7, 6KO) while fan favorite Sergio “Micky” Lopez (6-1, 5KO) goes after Jesus “Conejo” Velazquez in a six round super featherweight bout.

Jaime Solorio (1-2-1, 1KO) of San Quintin, MX, faces Adan Fortanel (0-1) of Mexicali, MX, in a four round super welterweight clash and Ensenada’s Cesar “El Mayo” Garcia (0-2) vs. Juan Pablo “Becerro” Bojorquez (1-18, 1KO) of Tijuana flesh out the card in a four round super featherweight bout.
