According to Fightnews.com, current WBC super featherweight champion Humberto “Zorrita” Soto
will defend his green strap against Antonio “T-Rex” Davis (26-4, 13KO) over twelve rounds as the semi main event of the PPVcard “Latin Fury 8-Tijuana Thunder” being held in Tijuana, MX, on March 28th.
Featured in the main event will be the Son of a Legend Julio Cesar Chavez Jr (39-0-1, 29KO) as he faces Luciano Cuello (23-0, 10KO). Also featured will be Fernando “KOchulito” Montiel as he goes for his third title in as many division against Diego Silva in the bantamweight division and two time lightweight champion Jose Luis Castillo goes after former champion Antonio Diaz.
Tijuana’s Alejandro “Terra” Garcia and Bell Gardens, CA’s Giovanni Segura are still awaiting opponents.
